More "gotcha" Journalism from Katie Couric

Thanks to Katie Couric’s “gotcha” journalism, we now know more about Governor Palin and her principles on many issues that the voters consider to be important to them.

On “Drill Baby Drill”: “Should’ve started doing it ten years ago.”

On newspapers and magazines she regularly reads to establish her worldview: “Most of them, all of them, any of them.”

On global warming: “The point is, it’s real. We need to do something about it.”

On abortion: Palin would prevent a 15 year old who was raped by her father from getting an abortion. She’s in support to make all cases of abortion illegal.

On the morning after pill: “Personally, I would not choose to participate in that kind of contraception”

On evolution: “I think it should be taught as an accepted principle.” and
“I won’t ever deny that I see the hand of God in this beautiful creation that is earth…”

On homosexuality: “One of my absolute best friends for the last 30 years who happens to be gay and I love her dearly and she is not my gay friend, she is one of my best friends who happens to have made a choice that isn’t the choice that I’ve made…”
